No Obscene or Profane Language
No obscene or profane language is permitted on Top15s.com. This prohibition includes attempts to circumvent the word censor or any other form of word ma5k1ng. Additionally, no links to pornography or other adults-only content are permitted. Any lists, comments, or posts which violate this policy will be removed immediately.
No Intolerant or Insensitive Remarks
Top15s.com is intended to be fun, whimsical, and entertaining–not mean, antagonistic, or insulting. Please respect others, and their ideas and comments. Any intolerant or insensitive remarks will be deleted immediately.
No Flaming
No aggressive, personal attacks on someone just because of a disagreement with their point of view will be tolerated. Flaming is a cheap shot, the easy way out, and an immature & unintelligent way of "getting back" at another poster by simply being mean-spirited. It is used in lieu of intelligent, logical discourse because the flamer is incapable of intelligence and logic, so they fall back on a personal attack.
No Trolling
No posts obviously designed to attract flames or otherwise incite other posters to react negatively and aggressively will be tolerated.
No Spamming
Using our resources to get free advertising is not something Top15s allows. We will continue to remove posts which are spam and we will continue to ban members who insist on abusing our forums in this manner. Your spam will only last a few minutes, at most, then it will be removed and so will you.
No Advertising
No press releases, displays of company URLs, or other advertisements are permitted. The only acceptable display of a URL is as the author of a submitted Top15 list.
No Cyber Begging or Panhandling
No one is permitted to use Top15s.com to solicit donations for any cause. Any such requests will be removed without warning and continued attempts to use the website for such activity will result in a permanent ban.
No Pointless Posts or Comments
Top15s.com deletes "first post" and other similarly pointless comments and lists. Make your ideas and opinions count.
No Excessive Punctuation or Capitalization
Top15s.com will delete any posts or lists that manipulate punctuation or capitalization to simply draw attention. Your ideas must stand on their merit–not idiosyncratic punctuation or capitalization.
No Inapproporiate Avatars
Top15s supports gravatars. Anyone posting a comment can include an avatar with their post if they use a supported email account. Inappropriate avatars and related comments, however, will be promptly deleted. Furthermore, the use of any user title or signature which implies an official capacity–such as Helper, Moderator, Administrator, etc.–is not allowed. Any avatar or signature graphic which appears to imitate the official Top15s.com version, or uses any element of the design, will be removed without notification.
